Ooldouz Alaei Novin is a Tehran based visual artist. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts is Photography from Art University of Tehran. She received her MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media from School of Visual Arts in May 2016. 

She has created bodies of work in different areas of photography including documentary and staged photography. Since moving to New York she has been exploring numerous possibilities of other forms of media. Her MFA thesis was a multimedia installation about the Iranian diaspora. Her most recent work is a site-specific installation, which is the outcome of the artist residency she attended at The Marble House Project. Her work has been exhibited in Tehran, New York and Los Angeles.
